One of the oldest Great Houses of the realm, the House of Levon is the traditional provider of bodyguards for the King. Levon is known as the only great house that has a matriarch as their head and the women of the Levons are known for the intellect and cunning. Numerous Royal Protectors have been born of Levon Ladies, and some of their ladies have been Queen Consorts. Since the fall of the House of Reynar, Levon's standing and influence has diminished during the reign of the House of Manus. Due to this, during the arrival of Ares Reynar, the House of Levon was one of the first families to openly pledge to the exiled prince.
Levon is the only noble house to pledge to Ares and not be connected by land to the lands formally under the control of the Nova Kingdom of Cedronia. Due to this, the Levon lands have been under a constant state of siege from various surrounding hostile factions most notably the Imperial government in the north but also the Commune from the east and the Free State of Urius from the south.
