The Co-Operative Parishes of Southwestern Cedronia, also known as Kusharidan, is a de facto autonomous region in southwestern Cedronia. It consists of various self-governing sub-regions called Parishes throughout the state. The region gained its de facto autonomy in 1640 in the context of the ongoing Kusharidan conflict and the wider Cedronian Civil War, in which its official military force, the Cedronian People's Defense Forces (CPDF), has taken part.
While entertaining some foreign relations, mainly with the Celestial Hegemony and Nationalist Cedronia the region is not officially recognized as autonomous by the government of Cedronia or any international state or organization. Southwestern Cedronia is polyethnic and home to sizeable ethnic Kushari, Seresian and Vagasir populations.
The supporters of the region's administration state that it is an officially secular polity with direct democratic ambitions based on an anarchistic and libertarian socialist ideology promoting decentralization, gender equality, environmental sustainability and pluralistic tolerance for religious, cultural and political diversity, and that these values are mirrored in its constitution, society, and politics, stating it to be a model for a federalized Cedronia as a whole, rather than outright independence. Despite this, the region's administration has also been criticized by various parties over authoritarianism, support of the nationalist Cedronian government, Kusharification and has faced some accusations of war crimes.
Since 1643, Sertorian and Sertorian-backed Cedronian rebel forces have captured parts of western Kusharidan through a series of military operations against the CPDF.
