The Order of the Seas is one of their main branches, commanding the Mantle's many warships as they seek to convert far off lands and defend the Holyland.
Ships in the Mantle's Navy are generally organized into specialized fleets depending on their role. Expeditionary Fleets are relatively large and fight outside the Hegemony's borders, usually being the ones responsible for conquering new lands. Mobile Fleets are usually smaller, being in a state of perpetual readiness so they can respond to threats or assist allies immediately. Defense Fleets patrol within the Hegemony's territory, protecting civilian traffic from pirates and dealing with unruly leaders.
The Order of the Navy also includes marine commando units, primarily used for boarding actions on sea stations or other ships.
Naming conventions for Hegemony warships generally involve elegant and somewhat religious-sounding names such as Ardent Respite, Thunderous Revelry, Mordant Exemplar, Reverence, or Resplendent Grace. There are generally three categories for ships in the Dominion, based mostly on size: unrated ships, escort ships, and line ships.
