The Poor-Fellows are a small Hired Company based in Cedronia composed of idealists, orphans, ex-soldiers, exiled nobles, disgraced knights, and societal outcasts all with who share the general goal of helping the victims of the Civil War. Formed by August dom Validis, a deserting officer of the Imperial Army and group of six soldiers who followed him, it is currently led by both him and his former student, Nicholus Kanou. While August wishes to help those on a smaller scale and has no desire to involve himself or the Poor-Fellows in the civil war at large, Nicholus however wishes to see an end to the war and believes the only way to do that is by becoming a powerful leader to direct change from the top down.

Despite their small size of fifty or so members, the Poor-Fellows are in possession of two mechs, one a refurbished Gallus named Sheepherder armed with a light machine gun and used for recon and to quickly move from one side of the battlefield to another, and an Aper named Stout, with it's right arm boasting a large machine gun while it's left arm is equipped with a powerful claw.
